About

Sandra Gladh

I am trained to degree standard in Counselling and Psychotherapy with a MSc in Psychology. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and accredited by the National Counselling Society. I am an EMDR Europe Accredited Clinical Supervisor/Consultant and a member of the EMDR Association UK. I am a member of the British Psychological Society and I am currently enrolled on a doctorate programme in counselling psychology.

In my work I am able to provide clients with a safe and confidential space and offer a non-judgemental therapeutic experience. I am an integrative psychotherapist and I can draw upon different psychotherapeutic models, such as psychodynamic, humanistic, CBT, and EMDR to help clients make sense of their experiences. Research suggest that therapy is more successful when the therapy matches the client’s preferences. In our first session, we will discuss your hopes and aims from attending therapy and how this can be achieved in our work together.

I have over 10 years of experience of working with adults, adolescents and children. I provide short and long-term therapy, either online or in person. My area of expertise lies working with any kind of trauma, including PTSD and childhood trauma, attachment difficulties, relationship and friendships difficulties, anxiety, social anxiety, and phobias.

I am able to provide clinical supervision or EMDR supervision to both individuals and groups. I provide training for organisations in various areas, including but not limited to: attachment, promoting mental health, managing emotions, and impact of trauma on individuals.
